MicrofiberWholesale.com began as three, modest stores on Melrose Avenue in the 1940’s selling mops, brooms and brushes wholesale to Janitorial Supply and Hardware stores. They now sell over 200 microfiber cleaning products online directly to consumers, house cleaning services, building service contractors, hotel housekeepers, and institutional facility maintenance departments.

The Challenge

MicrofiberWholesale.com sells 200+ microfiber cleaning products through their eCommerce store to house cleaners and facility maintenace professionals along with consumers. They reached out to us seeking to communicate the industry leading quality of their products and expertise to potential recurring clients for years to come. They also wanted to illustrate why microfiber products are superior to disposable cleaning products to first time buyers.

The Solution

Our team met with MicrofiberWholesale.com during the redesign phase and had strong understanding and agreement on the UX direction of the new eCommerce store. We covered nearly every Microfiber Wholesale product through product videos and a brand video that told the story of the family owned and operated business right here in the United States. The videos were launched in conjunction with the new website so every single product and category page contained at least one video to tell the story behind the product and the brand.

During the first phase of B2B marketing materials, we also created 38 product videos and demonstration videos for cleaning products ranging from simple microfiber towels to bucketless mops. With these videos, we had two major focuses: the quality and strength of the Microfiber Wholesale brand’s products to shoppers actively searching for microfiber tools as well as educating first time customers microfiber products are the better choice over disposable products.

As part of the next phase, we targeted consumers. We filmed 18 new videos covering the uncertainties and doubts buyers often have online with an unfamiliar product like microfiber. They may wonder how well does it clean, how to clean quickly, where to use it, how to clean glass effectively, etc. Many of the videos we shot are tips and tricks videos people were already actively searching for on YouTube to help them clean their homes and cars better.

We also created microsites customized by demographics, shot lifestyle product photography for the site, and produced additional content marketing materials as part of our full eCommerce audit and refresh.
